London SwingbandLast Friday my girlfriend took me to see the
London Swingband. I have to be honest and admit that swingbands and music of that era such as Frank Sinatra, Matt Munro and Perry Como is not really my cup of tea, so when my girlfriend told me she had got tickets to see the
London Swingband I was not that excited about the prospect of going. However, my opinion soon changed the moment the show started. The band was excellent and couldn`t believe how talented they were. In the band was three males singers and one female singer and they were spot on when they sang every single note! I am not exaggerating when I say that if you shut your eyes you could have been watching Ol` Blue Eyes Himself. They sang all the hits of the era like Come Fly with Me, New York New York, From Russia With Love and I Get a Kick Out of You. The whole night was a great success and thoroughly enjoyed myself. I was reading in the programme that the
London Swingband have played all over the world and to audiences including HRH The Princess Royal, Celebrity Fame Academy, BBC, ITV and Arsenal Football Club.
