I work for a business that sells slate house signs. I work in the office and really enjoy my hob as I am the first point of contact for the business. My role involves talking to people on the telephone and advising them on the best slate house signs for their requirements. I have met a lot of really friendly and interesting people in the course of my job and, as there seems to be a lot of people who want slate house signs, my day is always busy. The other day I was on the telephone all day with hardly enough time to get a cup of coffee, let alone lunch! My boyfriend worries about this as when I get home I am really tired but I love my job and it is the constant contact with people that is my stimulation. I often think about what it would be like working in a job where the contact with other people is minimal such as working from home or in an office on my own and the thought is anathema to me. Meeting people is what makes me tick and I hope to continue in this role for as long as possible.
